The Opening Trilogy: CD & Vinyl Release

The Opening Trilogy brings together for the very first time on cd and vinyl the recordings of songs (and instrumentals) made between 2014-2019. There are the first three recordings made after a long absence.

The recordings are available here in a 3LP Vinyl Deluxe and Dual CD Deluxe and booklet limited-edition release. A £25 credit has been applied to all current and new subscribers to be used on check-out against this or other purchases.

The recordings mark a beginning and the period of the return to recording with each having a tentative step to that end taken.

3LP Vinyl and Duel Deluxe CD Deluxe Editions:

The 22nd Sunday (released May 9, 2015) begins with orchestral compositions on a wide-scale. With 115 performers (75-piece orchestra and 40-piece choir) it was recorded at George Martin’s Air Lyndhurst Studios.

The Misc. Session (released October 23, 2016) take that further with the addition of vocals and songs all recorded with a 10-piece and 50-piece section at Abbey Road’s Famed Studio 2.

Then The Life of the World to Come (released 19th February 2019) introduces beats and rhythms to that equation.

    Hi Rob,
I placed an order for the Opening Trilogy but there has been no update or follow up. Don’t mind waiting, but don’t want to be kept in the dark. I’ve been looking forward to this as it the first vinyl record I’ve purchased.

P.S. It’s been a joy to see the updates on your current project.
